The Amity Circle Tree Ranch Mission Statement
Amity is a non-profit organization dedicated to the creation and implementation of community services for individuals struggling to overcome the hardships and personal devastation resulting from alcoholism and substance abuse, gambling addiction, eating disorders, and other self destructive behaviors, as well as depression, anxiety, and other co-occurring disorders.
Circle Tree Ranch, an Amity Foundation Teaching and Therapeutic Community, provides the resources, setting and climate for drug and alcohol recovery, personal growth and transformation. The faculty at Circle Tree Ranch is compassionate towards and committed to those who have sought alcohol and drug treatment from substance abuse counselors, psychiatrists, outpatient clinics and residential rehabilitation programs, and have been unable to stop their drug use and self-destructive, anti-social behaviors. Addiction treatment services provided at Circle Tree Ranch foster individual dignity, self-reliance, integrity, understanding, and hope. Our recovery programs emphasize the crucial role of community and family in shaping values, and are sensitive to cultural and ethnic differences.
